This special cable has a USB plug on one end for your computer, a micro-USB (not mini-USB -- look closely! this one is thinner) on the other end for the Peek, and a special doo-hickey in the middle that converts the signal to "serial".
Be warned, buyer. This is not for an ordinary Peekster. This is for a super sneaky, risk-taking Peekster that wants to be part of our Crash Test Pilots program.
When you sign up, you'll start getting testing version software from us that does some nifty stuff. It will upgrade your Peek in various ways that are exciting. But it will be buggy and our customer care staff won't be able to help you! You'll have to rely on the boards.getpeek.com or our technical evangelists. But you can always "roll back" to a normal version and avoid the miseries.
Our updater tool DOES NOT work on Macs. Sorry!
